IDIDIT's Annual Car Show & Open House Set for Saturday August 23rd, 2025

 

TECUMSEH, MICHIGAN: Come and join us on August 23rd for the IDIDIT Car Show and Open House 8:00 am - 3:00 pm!

The yearly event will take place on IDIDIT’s campus in Tecumseh, Michigan. This day-long festivity includes a car show, facility tours, a vendor tent, food trucks, and a live DJ. The Tecumseh Rotary Club will start the day with a pancake breakfast, and Musgrove Company will provide coffee and additional beverages. Local food trucks will serve lunch. The NSRA will offer free safety inspections and hold a member appreciation day.

Our Car Show welcomes all show-quality vehicles, regardless of year, make, or model, celebrating car culture in a vibrant, family-friendly environment that showcases both vintage and modern classics. On-site registration, for those not pre-registered, runs from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM on the event day. Judging of classes starts at noon, with winners announced at 2:00 PM. Registration remains free, though we encourage participants to donate canned goods or non-perishable food items for a local charity. Last year, we delivered a truckload of food donations to the local food bank that helped to restock their pantry shelves.

There are nine categories that the car show contestants will compete for a trophy in. The trophies awareded at this show are one-of-a-kind, made in-house by IDIDIT craftspeople. The class categories are as follows:

• 1939-Older
• 1940-49
• 1950-59
• 1960-69
• 1970-79
• 1980-89
• 1990-Newer
• All entries will be considered for the Founder's Choice and Kid's Choice awards

IDIDIT’s open house tradition began 30 years ago to express gratitude to customers and give car enthusiasts a final celebration before storing their hot rods for winter. The inaugural event was a hit and has grown steadily, with over 400 vehicles showcased at our 2024 car show. We’re thrilled to revive this annual tradition. Each year, attendance climbs, and we hope this year continues that trend.
